THE CUSTOM PROCESS
Custom pieces are made at the LK Atelier in Sydney. That includes, tailoring, evening wear and customisation of ready to wear designs from LK collections.
A design session with our designer or design team member is required a minimum of 12 weeks prior to deadline.
The booking entails a 30-45 minute one on one design session during which, you have the opportunity to try on in house samples of basic pattern blocks of styles and silhouettes. The designer will assist and guide you in the selection of fabrics, materials, silhouette, cut and detailing.
Once a design is sketched, measurements taken and fabrics, materials and colour selected- you will receive an immediate quote. The quote will also be emailed to you within 48hrs, quotes are valid subject to deadline.
To proceed a deposit is required to confirm your order.
Fittings commence within a 12 week timeline leading up to deadline, provided to you by an LK representative. Custom pieces and tailoring may require 2-4 fittings depending on progress needs.
Deadlines are placed by your request, please be mindful of set processes that have been placed for quality purposes and for your peace of mind.
A fee is required to confirm the booking, this goes towards your order if you decide to proceed. Please keep in mind a 48hour notice is required to reschedule or cancel your booking, otherwise your payment is forfeited.
